Back at it in March

Here are some pictures of a few of the smaller things I tackled. A lot of small things can add up...

You can tell I'm not XSIVE - that's 3 with 1 on the porch

One thing needing tackled was the oil delivery line. I removed the line and sanded it down smooth to get the 30 year old grime off. I then painted it black and reinstalled it with the old bolts. They were looking rough, so I ordered a new set of chrome ones from mikesxs. They should be here by the end of the week and I can post pictures of the difference.

Another thing needing attention was the carb holder bolts. They were all rusty from sitting for years. Some were even a pain to remove from the amount of rust. I removed the carb boots that were on the bike originally and replaced them with some carb boots of a little better appearance, not new, hoping I can still get my initial results from them. I will be replacing the carb boots before everything is said and done regardless. I'm just directing funds in other directions.

I also have some more upgrades on the way for the front end. Some of which consist of a new front axle and new rotor bolts. I'm also going to powder coat the wheels, install seat shocks, new tires, brakes and petcocks and things should be good.
