Back at it in March

And the adventure continues...

It's been a little while since I've been able to get at the bike. Fall got here and boy do the leaves fall here. Cleaning them up is a job that has to happen nearly every 4 days to stay on top of them. Then winter was soon to follow and had to get things in order to get the bikes out of the weather so I purchased the harbor freight "portable garage" and built a 3/4" decked floor to get the bikes in for winter. Well, once everything was in the building, I had no working room. Pop recently purchased an older GW and I'm sticking with the XS's.

With that being said I am ready to get back at it. Half way through a frame mod, wiring, controls, and battery locating is where I stand currently. A short list of things to do is as follows:
  • finish hardtail
  • seat mount w/suspension
  • refinish wheels
  • wire left controls
  • wire hydraulic banjo bolt for front master
  • complete brake system rework w/stainless lines
  • forward controls
  • fender fab and mounts front and rear
  • exhaust turnouts
  • fake oil tank fab and mount
  • battery box mount and finish fab box
  • shorten kickstand
  • relocate rear master

...and I'm sure I'll find a few other things along the way.
